Why We're Different

What started as a simple fascination with coffee became a mission.

During the pandemic, founder Leena began exploring the world of coffee roasting and brewing. What started as a hobby soon became a passion. Through training, experimentation, and countless batches, that passion evolved into Interstellar Grinds.

Today, that same dedication drives everything we do, from roasting beans and crafting syrups to bottling coffee that's as memorable as the journey behind it.

The Story Behind Interstellar Grinds

Interstellar Grinds was born from two lifelong passions: coffee and space.

Ever since I was young, I've been fascinated by the mysteries of the universe. Growing up, my room was covered in glow-in-the-dark stars, and I spent countless nights staring at the ceiling imagining distant galaxies, planets, and adventures beyond Earth.

One of my favorite childhood memories was a glow-in-the-dark space-themed party at school. The room was filled with glowing decorations, Milky Way chocolate bars, pizza, and fruit punch. More than 25 years later, I still remember that day. The excitement and wonder I felt then never really left me.

In college, that fascination grew into a deeper appreciation for astronomy. I loved learning about the cosmos and visiting observatories whenever I had the chance. The more I learned, the more amazed I became by just how vast and beautiful the universe truly is.

Another major inspiration behind Interstellar Grinds is my favorite movie of all time, Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan. Its themes of exploration, curiosity, and venturing into the unknown perfectly capture the spirit I wanted this brand to represent.
